When opening Seed Winehouse and Kitchen in 2014 we wanted to create a venue driven by a sense of place and season. Located in the heart of the Clare Valley, it was paramount that this ‘modern european’ restaurant still spoke to the style and essence of country life. Which is why this former 1880’s chaff mill, with its old stone walls and twisting gum pillars was the perfect place to start our journey. We began with Seed Bar and Bistro and three years on we bring you Seed Espresso, allowing us to develop and further curate our ethos into multiple styles of service. An ethos that centres around providing seasonal menus that have a strong focus on ethical and sustainable produce both locally sourced and from the greater South Australian region.
